By founding Krieg Elektronik Gehäusebau GmbH in the village of Unterbruch, Mr Klaus Krieg laid the foundation for a company specialising in bespoke, high-quality metal enclosures and metal components.

About us
Since its founding in 1975 by Mr Klaus Krieg, our company has grown into a valued partner for industry well beyond national borders. With decades of experience and a clear focus on quality and innovation, we manufacture customised metal enclosures and metal components for a wide range of industries.
A family business with tradition and a future
In 1988, Mathias Krieg took over the management of the company in the second generation and consistently continued its course of growth. We manufacture products that are used in numerous sectors: from mechanical and plant engineering through the food industry and medical technology to telecommunications, measurement and control technology, renewable energies and battery storage systems.
Specialisation & Expansion
In 1997, the 19-inch enclosures and data cabinet systems division was spun off as an independent branch of the company into "Klaus Krieg Datennetzsysteme". This targeted specialisation enabled us to respond even more efficiently to the growing demands in data and network technology.
Precision, quality & state-of-the-art technology
With over 160 qualified and motivated employees and a production area of 16,500 m², we rely on state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies. Our Engineering Office works with you to develop 3D animated designs using our SolidWorks software. We support our customers through the complete process chain, from the initial idea and prototyping through to series production. Our aim is to create not just products but solutions – customised, high-quality and future-oriented.
1975 to today

1982
Relocation from Unterbruch to Oberbruch
In 1982, the company moved to Oberbruch, expanding the production area by 3,000 m².
1988
Takeover by Mathias Krieg
Mathias Krieg takes over the company and leads it into a new era with a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurial skill.
1993
Relocation from Oberbruch to Dremmen
Expansion by 7,500 m².
The growing company moves from Oberbruch to Dremmen to meet rising demand and new production requirements.
2003 - 2008
Production area expanded by 6,000 m²
From 2003 to 2008, Krieg Elektronikgehäusebau GmbH expanded its production area by 6,000 m² in order to meet the growing requirements of our customers flexibly and efficiently.
2010
1 million kWh of solar power – shaping a sustainable future
Our innovative photovoltaic system generates 1 million kWh of clean solar energy every year and saves hundreds of tonnes of CO₂. Together we are shaping a sustainable future!
2011
First TRUMPF laser welding robot
With the purchase of its first TRUMPF laser welding robot, the company invested in state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and maximum precision. By 2025, the machinery had already been expanded to include the tenth laser welding robot.
2012
TÜV ISO 9001:2008 certification
With its successful TÜV ISO 9001:2008 certification in 2012, Krieg Elektronikgehäusebau GmbH confirmed the highest quality standards and continuous improvement – for reliable, high-quality products.
2020
TÜV ISO 9001:2015 certification
With its successful certification to ISO 9001:2015, KRIEG Elektronik-Gehäusebau GmbH once again confirms its commitment to the highest quality standards and continuous improvement. A clear sign of reliable processes and first-class products.
2022
Expansion by a further 3,000 m² of production space
In 2022, KRIEG Elektronik-Gehäusebau GmbH expanded its production area by a further 3,000 m² to a total of 16,500 m² in order to increase production capacity and respond flexibly to customer requirements.
