Laser Welding

Innovative laser welding solutions with state-of-the-art TRUMPF technology at Krieg

Laser welding has established itself as a key technology in modern metal processing, particularly when it comes to precision, efficiency, quality and productivity.

Our laser welding department

At KRIEG Elektronik-Gehäusebau GmbH, we rely on state-of-the-art laser welding technology from TRUMPF, the world's leading manufacturer. Our production comprises a total of ten high-performance systems, including seven TruLaser Weld 5000 and three TruLaser Robot 5020 machines, which guarantee the highest precision, quality and cost-effectiveness.

Our TRUMPF machines in action:

  • 7x TruLaser Weld 5000: These machines produce precise, stable and visually appealing weld seams and are ideal for complex components with wide tolerances. The integrated FusionLine technology delivers ideal results even on components with larger tolerances.

  • 3x TruLaser Robot 5020: these flexible 3D laser welding systems enable high-precision work on demanding and complex geometries. Thanks to automated robot technology, we can efficiently handle small, medium and large series production runs.

6 advantages of our laser welding process

  1. High precision for complex components.

  2. Minimal heat input and therefore reduced distortion.

  3. Efficient and cost-effective production.

  4. Versatile use on a variety of materials (e.g. stainless steel, steel, aluminium).

  5. Optimal automation options for series production.

  6. Reduced or even eliminated rework thanks to high-quality weld seams.
