You have the design, we do the manufacturing. The more complete your enquiry, the faster you receive a reliable quote – without rounds of follow-up questions. Our checklist shows which details we need to calculate your price.
Your design, our manufacturing
At KRIEG we manufacture enclosures, cabinets and sheet metal parts to our customers’ specifications. The design comes from you – we build it: from laser cutting and bending to welding and press-fitting, through to powder coating, screen printing, assembly and shipping. All under one roof in Heinsberg, Germany.
To calculate your part accurately, we need a complete picture of it. Every missing detail means a follow-up question – and every question costs time, on both sides.

How your enquiry runs
From the first email to series delivery there are five steps. A good enquiry keeps the first one short.
- 01EnquiryYou send drawings, CAD data and key details.
- 02ReviewOur technical office checks manufacturability.
- 03QuoteYou receive a reliable, fully calculated quote.
- 04First samplesOn request, we make samples for your approval.
- 05SeriesProduction, inspection and delivery as planned.
The checklist for your enquiry
These eight points are what we need for a reliable quote. Tick off what you already have – we are happy to clarify the rest together.
Which file for what?
The best combination
3D model plus drawing. The model gives us geometry and bends, the drawing gives us dimensions, tolerances and your requirements. In the enquiry form you can attach PDF, STEP, DXF, DWG or a ZIP archive of up to 10 MB. For larger files, just get in touch.

Our look at your drawing
Before we calculate, our technical office checks whether your part can be produced reliably on our machines. We do not change your design. If we notice something that would make production simpler or cheaper, we tell you – the decision stays with you.
Typical notes concern these three dimensions:
Just as common: tolerances that are tighter than the function requires. Every tight tolerance means additional inspection effort. Where it does not matter, a general tolerance saves time and cost.
You design. We manufacture. The clearer the specification, the faster your quote.
From first sample to series
After your order, we can first produce samples for you to inspect and approve. Then series production runs – with the same programs, tools and inspection characteristics, to DIN EN ISO 9001. So you get the same part with every call-off.
Upload your drawing, get your quote.
The checklist is already filled in as a template in the enquiry form – you just add your details.
